In the first lesson of this mini-series, we’re learning a simplified version of “Freight Train” in open D tuning.

Once you master this arrangement, you are ready to learn part 2 which is more fancy with lots of cool licks and fills 🙂

Note: I’ve played this on my weissenborn but of course you can also play it on your dobro or lap steel tuned to open D.
